  • Account Information: When you sign up for our Services using Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by your Google account.
  • User Content: We collect the content you create within the application, including email subjects, body content, and any templates you save.
  • Saved Data: We store the lists of companies and people you save to your account to provide the core functionality of our service.
  • Profile & Settings: We collect additional information you voluntarily add to your profile, such as your job title, links to your LinkedIn profile or portfolio, and any resumes you upload.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Information: We may collect basic information about how you interact with our Services, such as which features you use most frequently. This data is used in an aggregated form to help us improve the user experience. We do not track your activity across other websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Services.
  • To manage your account, including tracking your credit usage for email reveals and AI optimizations.
  • To personalize your experience, such as greeting you by name on the dashboard.
  • To power our AI features. For example, when you use the "Optimize with AI" feature, the text of your email is sent to Google's Gemini large language model for the sole purpose of generating an improved version. This data is not used to train the model or for any other purpose.
  • To communicate with you for customer support or to inform you about updates to our Services.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our Services, as described below:

  • Google: We use Google for user authentication (Google Sign-In) and to power our AI features (Google Gemini). You can review Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
  • Firebase (a Google service): We use Firebase for our application's backend infrastructure, including our database (Firestore), cloud functions, and hosting.

We may also disclose your information if we are required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We use secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase and enforce secure authentication practices. However, no online service is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your personal information. You can:

  • Access and Update Your Information: You can review and edit your profile information at any time in the "Settings" section of your dashboard.
  • Delete Your Data: You can delete your saved companies, people, and email templates directly within the application.
  • Delete Your Account: You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data by using the "Delete Account" feature in the "Security" tab of your settings. This action is irreversible.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
